Horton Show is a small village show, orientated around the school and children of the area, set in the backdrop of Pen-y-ghent.  Breeds exhibited included Swaledale, Dalesbred, Mule, Blue Faced Leicester, Masham and rarebreeds.  Sheep dog trials are held each year as well as the duck and dog trial!  The presence of the refreshments tent, exhibiting the finest baking in the dales always makes the day enjoyable.
