On Wednesday Harrison & Hetherington Ltd. held their Afternoon show & evening sale of 53 Crowned in lamb Swaledale Ewes & Gimmer Hoggs, together with 185 Association Flock Books, Shepherds Guide & Bluefaced Leicester Flock Books.

The sale was preceded by a dispersal sale of 850 Swaledale ewes & gimmer hoggs for the Bell Partnership & R F Bell also 101 Swaledale ewes to the Bluefaced Leicester Ram

In lamb crowned swaledale ewes averaged £633.33 an increase of £76.68 from last year.

Flock books averaged £100.99 per book (+£26.57).

Swaledale ewes run with Swaledale Ram from M/s. Bell averaged £37.80, Gimmer Hoggs averaged £25.38
